Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteering is a great way to support Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic School. Not only is it vital to our day to day operations, but it is a great way to meet other parents, faculty and staff. he time and dedication that our community members share with us is deeply appreciated.
The Our Lady of the Wayside volunteer program offers a variety of volunteer opportunities within a varied schedule and seasonal preferences from which families can choose.
The volunteer program is coordinated through the Family and School Association. FSA is able to provide so much to OLW School because of the many parent volunteers who donate time and talents. We strongly encourage all families to volunteer for at least three jobs. You can send an email to fsachair@olwschool.org.
Volunteers who have regular contact with children, or are in a perceived position of trust, are required to complete all of the steps for Virtus Training online. Click here for a complete list of instructions on how to go thru the site. And in some cases, Mandated Report Training is required. A CANTS from is required every year for every volunteer. Please PRINT and return the CANTS Form Page to the school or parish office (not the Springfield address). Thank you.
